Quentin Goodin Sets New Career High as Musketeers Fall at Mizzou

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Junior guard set a new career-best mark in scoring, but a cold streak from the floor proved too much for Xavier men's basketball to overcome as the Musketeers fell, 71-56, at Missouri on Tuesday evening, moving to 7-5 on the season.

The Tigers took a double-digit lead into halftime and broke the game open in the early part of the second half as the Musketeers were held scoreless from the floor for nearly 10 minutes. A late 14-3 run for the Musketeers, fueled by six points and three assists for Goodin, helped cut the margin back to 15 as the junior posted a career-high 21 points.
