When the Xavier University men's basketball team takes the floor later tonight at Alumni Hall against the Providence Friars, it will do so without starter Nate Johnson, head coach Travis Steele told The Enquirer.
Johnson, who's dealing with a leg injury, averages 11.4 points and 31 minutes per game, and he had started in all 16 games this season, so it will be paramount that the Musketeers can find a way to fill that void at 9 p.m. tonight.
Bryan Griffin has cleared COVID-19 protocols and will be available to play, but redshirt freshman Dieonte Miles remains sidelined with a knee injury.
