It's been a productive weekend for Xavier University's men's basketball program. One day after landing a commitment from Gardner-Webb graduate transfer Nate Johnson on Saturday, the Musketeers picked up another commitment Sunday, this one from Bryan Griffin out of Mercy College.
Griffin, a 6-foot-8, 230-pound forward, is immediately eligible for the upcoming 2020-21 season and he'll help replace the rebounding and physicality left by the graduation of Tyrique Jones.
Mercy College is a Division II program in Griffin's home state, New York.
"I redshirted my first year when I got to college," said Griffin.
