The NCAA Selection Show served up the news that we were all expecting, but that doesn’t mean Xavier’s season is over. The Musketeers are going to the NIT for the first time since we started covering the team and for the first time since 2000. Much like the NCAA tournament, there is bracketology for the NIT, and Xavier features prominently.
SBNation’s Mid Major Madness (follow them for all of your American Athletic Conference needs) does NITology. Right now, they project Xavier as a three seed taking on the Dons of San Francisco in the first round.
