NEWARK, N.J. – "There is a time for everything," a famous passage in the Book of Ecclesiastes begins and Saturday morning it was time for the Xavier Musketeers to fight.

The dark clouds that had been following Xavier's basketball team parted Saturday and the Musketeers shocked No. 10 Seton Hall at the Prudential Center, 74-62, handing the Pirates their first Big East Conference loss this season and snapping a 10-game win streak.

It's Xavier's first win over an AP top-10 team since the Musketeers beat No. 4 Arizona in the Sweet 16 of the 2017 NCAA Tournament and Xavier did it in dominant fashion, leading Seton Hall for more than 38 minutes and only trailing for 31 seconds while limiting Pirates star Myles Powell to just nine points.
