BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. - Xavier men's golf wrapped up day one action at the Mountaineer Invitational on Monday evening. The two-day tournament is being played at Pete Dye Golf Club.
The Musketeers shot a 36-hole total of 618 (+42) on Monday, ranking 10th out of 13 teams.
Southern Miss leads the tournament field with a 36-hole score of 589 (+13). West Virginia's Mark Goetz ranks first in a field of 81 golfers with a 36-hole score of 139 (-5).
Day three action gets underway on Tuesday morning at 8 a.m. with no shotgun start.
