TUSCALOOSA, AL - After falling behind in the second inning, Xavier baseball put together a late rally to get the go-ahead run aboard in the ninth inning, but the Musketeers were unable to bring the runners around, falling, 5-4, in game two at Alabama.
Xavier took the early lead after Jack Housinger homered down the right field line in the first, his second homer of the season. Alabama responded with four runs in the second, holding the 4-1 lead into the seventh when the Musketeers made it 4-2 on a Tyler DeMartino homer.
