SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. - Xavier volleyball captured its first BIG EAST win on Saturday night, picking up a four-set victory (14-25, 25-20, 25-20, 25-22) at Seton Hall. The Musketeers moved to 3-10 (1-1 BIG EAST), while the Pirates dropped to 5-11 (0-3 BIG EAST).
• Sophomore led the Musketeers with 13 kills and a .435 hitting percentage. The middle blocker added two blocks. Classmate chipped in a season-high 12 kills and three blocks.
• Freshman posted eight kills and a .571 hitting percentage. The middle blocker added five aces, the second most by a BIG EAST player this season.
