CINCINNATI - Xavier women's soccer graduate student Molly McLaughlin was named to the United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-America Team for 2022, earning a spot on the Second Team.
McLaughlin, a midfielder from Granger, Ind., is currently pursuing her MBA after graduating Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Entrepreneurial Studies from Xavier last year.
On the field, McLaughlin led the Musketeers in points and goals for 2022, and helped the Xavier defense to 11 shutouts for the season. Xavier earned the No. 2 seed in the BIG EAST Championship, with the Musketeers eventually earning an at-large bid to the NCAA Championship, picking up the program's second NCAA victory in overtime against Tennessee.
