CINCINNATI – Xavier Athletics announced today that men's basketball season ticket sales have eclipsed the previous high of 8,120 sold for the 2001-02 season. Last season, over 8,000 season tickets were sold for only the third time in Cintas Center's history. Xavier averaged 10,475 fans per home game and 103 percent of seating capacity, good for third-highest percentage in the Nation.
"There is no more loyal and passionate fan base in the country than Xavier Nation," said Xavier Associate Athletic Director for External Relations Brian Hicks. "Head coach Travis Steele and his team have been working hard getting ready for the season.
