CINCINNATI --- The Xavier Musketeers, 10-2 overall and 3-2 in the BIG EAST Conference, open a three-game road swing in Indianapolis vs. Butler on Friday night. This will be Xavier's first game since Jan. 10 when it defeated Providence 74-73 in a thriller at Cintas Center.
Senior guard Paul Scruggs, an Indianapolis native, leads the BIG EAST and is 15th in the nation in assists at 6.3 apg. Scruggs is second on the team in scoring at 13.8 ppg., which ranks 13th in the BIG EAST. Third-year Xavier head coach Travis Steele is a Butler graduate as is special assistant to the head coach Matthew Graves.
