CINCINNATI – Xavier men's basketball (22-3, 10-3 BIG EAST) remained in the top-10 of both major polls on Monday, checking in at No. 8 in the AP Top 25 and No. 7 in the USA Today Coaches Poll.
The Musketeers, coming off a 1-1 week, have now been in the top-10 of the AP Poll for 10 straight weeks.
The BIG EAST boasts three schools in the AP Top 25, including Villanova (1), Xavier (8) and Providence (23). The rankings are nearly identical in the USA Today Coaches Poll, with Villanova at first, Xavier at seventh and Providence at 20th.
