ST. LOUIS — Senior James Farr remembers sitting in front of his television as a 17-year-old high school junior soaking in the Sweet 16.
He viewed The Dance differently those days. That’s because then the Evanston, Ill., native contemplated regularly which college coach he would make happy with a commitment in the coming year.
Then he watched Jordan Crawford and Tu Holloway take Jacob Pullen and Kansas State to the brink in double overtime, one of the greatest battles in Xavier’s postseason history.
“I was watching the game trying to see myself out there with those guys,” Farr said.
