Madeline Britton Earns USTFCCCA All-Academic Honors

CINCINNATI - Xavier track and field standout Madeline Britton earned U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCA) All-Academic honors on Thursday.

The Bay Village, Ohio, native graduated in the spring of 2018 with a 3.94 grade point average as a nursing major. She finished the year ranked 31st in the NCAA East Region for the 10,000-meter run.

Britton placed 22nd in the 10,000-meter run (34:52.76) at the NCAA East Regional. She also competed at the event in 2016, participating in the 10,000-meter run.

She was also a two-time All-BIG EAST selection in cross country during her time at Xavier, earning first-team honors last fall after finishing eighth at the conference championships.
