Mack: Early NCAA seeding reveal 'boring, dumb, stupid, ridiculous'

Suffice it to say Xavier head coach Chris Mack isn't a big fan of revealing projected NCAA Tournament seeds mid-season.

Asked by The Enquirer during a Wednesday press conference about the Tuesday announcement the NCAA Tournament selection committee will reveal its top 16 seeds Feb. 11 as part of a live, televised event, Mack said, "Boring. Dumb. Stupid. Ridiculous. 2017 transparency. Stupid."

According to CBS Sports, which will air the early-seeding announcement show, the broadcast will feature Greg Gumbel, analysts Clark Kellogg and Seth Davis, and NCAA men's basketball chair and director of athletics at Michigan State University, Mark Hollis.
