Xavier University's men's basketball team opens Big East Conference play Sunday (2 p.m., FS1) against Marquette and the Musketeers will be without starting freshman point guard Dwon Odom.
According to Xavier, "Odom is not cleared to practice or play due to COVID-19 protocols.” There's no additional information on Odom or his timeline to return.
