Providence 32, Xavier 26, HALFTIME – The Friars closed the first half with an 11-4 run while Xavier continued to flirt with turnovers.
The Musketeers had nine turnovers in the first half which amounted to 11 points for Providence.
Xavier also had two scoring droughts in the first half that totaled more than seven minutes.
