NEW YORK - Senior Laura Grossman was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll after helping the Musketeers post a 1-1 record at the NIU Invitational last weekend. She earned all-tournament team honors for her on-court performance.
The outside hitter led the Musketeers in kills (4.43 k/s), while adding 15 digs, five blocks and two aces. She also posted a .385 hitting percentage.
Grossman had 13 kills, six digs and two aces against Oklahoma and posted 18 kills and nine digs against Northern Illinois.
Xavier returns to action at the Puerto Rico Tournament in San Juan on Aug.
