Guard Keonte Kennedy, who played his first season of college basketball for the Xavier Musketeers in 2018-19, committed to play next season at Cal, according to multiple reports Tuesday, including one from On3sports' Joe Tipton.
Kennedy transferred to UTEP after averaging 2.0 points and 1.4 rebounds in 12.1 minutes per game in 22 games as a freshman at XU. He sat out the 2019-20 season, and averaged 11.0 points and 6.0 rebounds per game over two seasons at UTEP before transferring to Memphis.
Kennedy averaged 9.2 points and 2.6 rebounds in 23.1 minutes per game in 25 games for the Tigers last season.
