NEW YORK - After winning three events to help Xavier's men take the top spot at the 11th Annual Butler Invite, Jon Bernard was named BIG EAST Swimmer of the Week on the men's side.
Bernard, a native of Maineville, Ohio, led all scorers with three individual wins as the Musketeers took first of seven teams. Bernard swept the breaststroke events, taking the 100 breast with a time of 56.86 and the 200 breast with a time of 2:03.76, both personal best and a season-best times for the Musketeers.
