Columbus Africentric head coach Michael Bates has been on the varsity bench for every game in school history. The head coach for the last 17 seasons, Bates has seen a lot of talented players come through the program. No one left a legacy like Dailyn Swain.
"We've had some very good players come through Africentric. All of those players, to this day, were impressed by Dailyn Swain," Bates told The Enquirer. "He plays an exciting brand of basketball."

Swain was a 14-year-old freshman guard starting on varsity for Africentric.
