Former Xavier star Trevon Bluiett transferred to NBA G League's Westchester Knicks

Trevon Bluiett, the undrafted former Xavier University standout who scored 63 points in his first three NBA Summer League games for the New Orleans Pelicans, was transferred to the G League's Westchester Knicks on Monday, because the Pelicans don't own or operate their own G-League affiliate.

The 23-year-old Bluiett confirmed in July that he had signed a two-way contract with the Pelicans.

A two-way contract can be converted into a standard NBA contract if there's an available roster spot. During a two-way contract, a player can only sign an NBA contract with that team.
