Brady Ernst, a 6-10 junior college forward (Indian Hills Community College) who had committed to Xavier before reopening his recruitment earlier this month, has now signed with Florida Gulf Coast University, according to the school.
Ernst reopened his recruitment at about the same time that Kerem Kanter, a grad transfer from Green Bay who declared for the 2017 NBA Draft, announced that if he decides instead to continue to play college basketball, he'll do so for Chris Mack at Xavier.
Ernst will have three years of eligibility with the Eagles, beginning immediately as a redshirt sophomore.
