Former Xavier University basketball standouts Trevon Bluiett and J.P. Macura met Saturday night in a G-League showdown between Bluiett's Westchester Knicks and Macura's Greensboro Swarm in Greensboro, and both players impressed in the Knicks' 110-99 win.
Bluiett had 18 points off the bench, with four rebounds and two assists.
Macura was the Swarm's starting shooting guard, scoring 17 points with four rebounds and five assists.
The undrafted Bluiett scored 63 points in his first three NBA Summer League games for the New Orleans Pelicans. He was transferred to the G League's Knicks in October, because the Pelicans don't own or operate their own G-League affiliate.
