CINCINNATI --- Xavier University sophomore Dwon Odom has been named BIG EAST Conference Player of the Week after contributing 12.5 points, 3.5 assists, 2.0 rebounds, 1.5 blocks and 2.5 steals per game in wins over Morehead State and Marquette this past week, while shooting 83.3 percent (10-12) from the field. Odom is the second straight Musketeer to earn BIG EAST Player of the Week honors as junior Jack Nunge won the award on Dec. 13.
Odom scored a career-high 19 points in the win over Marquette on Saturday, while hitting 8-9 from the field, to go with three steals.
