Desmond Claude Earns A BIG EAST Conference Honor

CINCINNATI --- Xavier University sophomore guard Desmond Claude has been named to the first BIG EAST Conference Honor Roll of the season. Claude averaged 18.5 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists in wins over Robert Morris and Jacksonville to open the season.

Claude more than doubled his previous career scoring high of 12 points by scoring 25 points in a win over Robert Morris on Nov. 6.

Xavier plays tonight at Purdue, which today moved up to No. 2 in the Associated Press Poll.
