CINCINNATI – Myles Davis posted 11 points, 12 rebounds and 12 assists, the first triple-double by a Musketeer since 2011, to help hold off a second-half surge by the No. 23/20 Providence Friars. The Musketeers prevailed, 85-74, to move to 23-3 overall and 11-3 in BIG EAST play during the second annual GE Aviation Military Appreciation game.
Davis' triple-double, which included career-highs in rebounds and assists, is the first for a Musketeer since Tu Holloway posted 26 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists against Fordham on Feb. 19, 2011.
Jalen Reynolds finished with a double-double, his fourth of the season, after finishing with 10 points and a game-high 15 rebounds.
