A person without passion is like a basketball without air. Passion builds skyscrapers, it paints masterpieces and climbs mountains.
For Dante Jackson, it was passion that kept his college basketball coaching dream alive and landed him back in a place his heart knows well: Xavier University.
“The one thing that stood out was Dante’s passion for this place,” said Xavier head basketball coach Travis Steele, who coached Jackson for three years when he played at Xavier. “He thinks Xavier University’s the best institution in the world which I think, too, but he’ll convince you of it. It means a lot for him to have this place win.
