First, in the words of the man himself:
Bishop commits on the heels of a productive summer that saw him moving closer to being a unanimous top 100 prospect in his class. Bishop has impressed scouts on both sides of the ball, using his 6'4" frame to solid effect as a scorer and a perimeter defender. He also gives Xavier their only guard in the 2018 class with Daniel Ramsey, Zach Freemantle, and Dionte Miles all being more acquainted to life under the basket.
As Xavier fans know all to well, there is a long gap between a commitment and the player pulling on the jersey (and shorts, most likely) at the Cintas Center, but Bishop could represent another in Xavier's long line of talented guards that have won their places in the hearts of X fans over the years.
