NEW YORK - Cole Jensen was named BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Year on Wednesday morning as voted on by conference head coaches.
Jensen is the third Musketeer to earn the honors and the first since Dallas Jaye in 2015. Eric Osswald also received the honors in 2014.
The Council Bluffs, Iowa, native leads the BIG EAST in shutouts (8), while ranking second in goals against average (0.89). He also ranks tied for third in the conference in total saves (59). Jensen ranks tied for sixth in the NCAA in shutouts and tied for 38th in goals against average.
