Worry not, Xavier fans. Chris Mack appears to be staying in Cincinnati.
The Xavier head coach addressed via social media on Wednesday the recent for-sale posting of his current home to real estate websites, which fueled speculation he could be leaving town for the now-vacant head coaching job at Ohio State.
From his Twitter account, @CoachChrisMack, Mack said Wednesday: "My timing for this house sale, well (emoji). But we are moving to NKY. Love Xavier! Now, about that house we have to sell... any takers?"
Social media channels were already buzzing with Mack-to-Ohio State rumors in the wake of former OSU head coach Thad Matta's firing this week.
