CINCINNATI - Xavier women's soccer moved to 3-0 for the first time since 1997 after picking up a 1-0 win over crosstown rival Cincinnati on Thursday evening.
The two teams played a scoreless draw into the final 10 minutes of the match before notched her first collegiate goal in the 81st minute from to put the Musketeers in front. Netzel's goal was eventually the game-winner in the 1-0 outing, after goalkeeper and the Xavier defense picked up their second shutout win of the season.
