GREENVILLE, S.C. - The women's tennis team ended the weekend in South Carolina with a bounce-back win over Furman, 5-2.
After losing the doubles point, five of the six singles matches belonged to the Musketeers allowing them to secure the victory and go 1-1 on the weekend.
Sydney Liggins defeated Ansley Speaks, 7-5, 6-0, to give Xavier its first point in the match and put the Musketeers within one point of the Paladins.
Alex Brinker beat Karlee Bryde, 7-5, 6-1, at the No. 4 singles position to tie the match at 2-2.
