CINCINNATI – Trevon Bluiett topped his career high in scoring as No. 12 Xavier ran away from Wright State on Tuesday evening at Cintas Center. The Musketeers downed the Raiders, 90-55, to move to 9-0 on the season.
Bluiett finished with 22 points, besting his previous career mark of 21 set at DePaul on Jan. 24, 2015 and matched earlier this season against Western Kentucky. Bluiett finished 7-of-12 from the floor, including shooting 62.5 percent on threes. Bluiett also grabbed a team-high 11 points for his third double-double of the season.
Bluiett led four Musketeers in double digits as Xavier hit the 90 point mark for the third straight game.
