On paper, Trevon Bluiett had fine performances over two games and two wins in Big East play last week.
What the box scores won't tell you is that the Xavier junior guard played the majority of Wednesday's win against Seton Hall and Saturday's win against Creighton with an ankle injury suffered against the former.
He still managed to hit the game-winning shot against the Pirates and hit crucial 3-pointers down the stretch against the Bluejays – performances that again garnered Bluiett Big East Player of the Week accolades.
The honor marks the second consecutive week Bluiett's won the award.
