AN AMTRAK SOMEWHERE BETWEEN NEW YORK AND PHILADELPHIA — Xavier University’s stay in New York was long, eventful and, ultimately, a business trip in which the essential objectives were achieved by the Musketeers, but not much else.
The Musketeers seemingly locked down an NCAA Tournament No. 1-seed by throttling St. John’s Thursday. That was the essential piece of business and it's a great credit to the team for handling that bit.
