NEW YORK – The common trope among college basketball coaches is the belief that a team should be playing its best basketball in March.
It's usually easier said than done, but in Xavier University's case, the Musketeer men are, in fact, playing their best basketball of the season – winning six of their last seven games – heading into the Big East Conference Tournament this week at Madison Square Garden.
