CINCINNATI – Garrett Schilling leads the Northwoods League in saves with 14 and Zac Lowther paces the prestigious Cape Cod League with 37 strikeouts – just two of many Xavier baseball players having standout summers across the country.
22 Musketeers are currently playing on summer teams and seven have been named to all-star teams in their respective leagues.
A few updates:
· Chris Givin was named an all-star and is currently hitting .412 through 26 games for the Amsterdam Mohawks (NY) as a part of the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League.
