CINCINNATI – Xavier baseball returns to action on Wednesday evening for a 6:30 p.m. game against crosstown rival Cincinnati at Marge Schott Stadium.
Xavier comes into the series at 12-23 (2-4 BIG EAST) after dropping two of three over the weekend at Seton Hall. The Bearcats (17-17, 7-5 AAC) fell in two of three last weekend at Central Florida.
Xavier is coming off its second straight BIG EAST Championship, beginning a new era with first year head coach Billy O'Conner after finishing the 2017 season with a 34-27 record and a trip to the NCAA Tournament Louisville Regional Final.
