CINCINNATI – Xavier baseball plays a pair of midweek contests, taking part in the ninth annual Joe Nuxhall Classic on Tuesday and Wednesday at the University of Cincinnati's Marge Schott Stadium.
The Musketeers open the tournament on Tuesday against crosstown rival UC at 6:30 p.m. and will meet either Miami (OH) or Wright State in the second game of the event on Wednesday at 3 p.m.
• The Joe Nuxhall Classic is a two-day tournament that honors the legacy of Cincinnati baseball legend Joe Nuxhall while promoting amateur baseball in Southwest Ohio.
