MORGANTOWN, W. Va. - A pair of Musketeers had homers to keep pace with No. 24 West Virginia, but Mountaineers put up a four-run eighth to take 7-2 win.
WVU took a 1-0 lead in the first inning, holding it into the fourth. The Musketeers tied it up on a solo home run from to left center in the fourth inning.
West Virginia responded with a solo shot of its own in the bottom of the inning to take the 2-1 lead, holding the advantage into seventh when hit a shot to left field to tie it up, 2-2.
