MEMPHIS - Xavier baseball won the series finale against the Memphis Tigers at FedEx Field by a score of 9-6. While Memphis got out to an early 3-0 start in the first, Xavier bounced back strong with 5 unanswered runs including a two-run homer from Lane Flamm. Memphis responded strong by retaking the lead in the 6th, but the Musketeers again countered with a two-run homer, this time from Luke Franzoni. In the 8th, Garrett Schultz tacked on a couple of insurance runs with a 2-RBI single to help seal the Xavier win.
