University of Wyoming junior Seth Borgert led the Cowboys to a third-place finish at the Western Athletic Conference Swimming & Diving Championship on Saturday in Houston.
Borgert won the 1,650-meter freestyle with a time of 15 minutes, 25.28 seconds. UW teammates Ryan Netzel and Jacob Harlan finished second and fifth, respectively, in the event.
In the platform diving competition, senior Ryan Russi placed third, followed by Brendan Byrnes in sixth and Elijah Chan in seventh.
Also finishing in the top 8 Saturday for UW were: Tyler Klatt (5th in 200 back), PJ Musser (7th in 100 free), Liam Holt (4th in 200 breast), Mitchell Hovis (5th in 200 breast) and Brayden Love (8th in 200 fly).
