Wyoming's Jordan Charles and McKenzie Brogan both won their respective 400-meter hurdle races Saturday at the Brutus Hamilton Challenge in Berkeley, California.
Charles ran a personal-best 51.49 seconds, which gives him the second-fastest time in the Mountain West this season. The junior also finished second in the 110 hurdles in 13.90.
Brogan took the top spot with a 59.40-second run to also set a personal record and move up to No. 2 in the MW this season.
Also for the Cowgirls, Sabina Sandberg won the high jump with a leap of 5-8, Day Timberman (Kelly Walsh) set a personal mark in the triple jump (37-4.
