University of Wyoming senior Jonah Henry set a personal record in the 3,000-meter steeplechase on Friday at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic in Hayward, California.
The Laramie native finished 20th with a time of 9 minutes, 9.55 seconds to best his previous mark by more than 3 seconds. Henry placed third among all Mountain West runners competing in the event.
Freshman Jerald Taylor also competed at the meet, finishing 39th out of 105 competitors in the 10,000-meter run in 30:26.58.
