Wyoming's Jerayah Davis sets school record in long jump

University of Wyoming senior Jerayah Davis set a school record in the long jump Saturday at the Tom Benich Invitational in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Davis, a Kelly Walsh graduate, won the event with a leap of 20 feet, 10.75 inches to break the mark of 20-04 set by Patricia Miller in 1980. Davis was one of five Cowgirls to win events Saturday, along with the 4x100 relay team.

Ja'la Henderson took the triple jump title with a leap of 42-09, Kacey Doner won the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 10 minutes, 41.01 seconds, Kiah Leonard won the 5,000-meter run in 17:42.
