Wyoming senior Aaron Derner placed fourth at Friday's 2015 Mountain West Cross Country Championship in Reno, Nevada. Derner's finish earned him All-Mountain West First Team accolades.
Wyoming's men cross country team finished fourth, tying the best team finish in school history and four points shy of the lowest total in the school's history at the Mountain West Championships.
“I thought the men ran great today,” UW head coach Bryan Berryhill said. “You mentioned highest team finish and close to lowest point total, but those three teams that finished ahead of us are all nationally ranked. So to finish fourth behind them I’ll take that today.
