LARAMIE — The Wyoming wrestling team has already had one non-traditional home dual this season, a Dec. 19 showdown with Oklahoma State in Cheyenne, which set the stage for hometown hero Bryce Meredith's win over then-No. 1 Dean Heil.
Saturday, the Cowboys hosted another opponent away from their traditional home, the UniWyo Sports Complex, as Wyoming wrestled Fresno State at the Arena-Auditorium. The stage was bigger, which was actually a bit of a concern for head coach Mark Branch.
"Your guys have never done that," he said. "You’re a little bit worried going down there going, ‘To them, it’s a foreign environment.
