The 18th-ranked University of Wyoming wrestling team completed a 3-1 weekend with victories over Michigan State and Southern Illinois-Edwardsville on Sunday at the South Beach Duals in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
In their opening dual, the Cowboys led the Spartans 14-13 heading into the final two matches. Cale Davidson then earned a 1-0 decision at 197 pounds and heavyweight Brian Andrews secured the 20-13 win with a 2-0 decision.
Also picking up victories for UW were No. 12 Montorie Bridges at 133, No. 15 Sam Turner at 141, Jaron Jensen at 149 and No. 7 Branson Ashworth at 165.
