A trio of unanswered goals lifted Northern Colorado past the Wyoming women’s soccer team, 3-1 at Okie Blanchard Stadium in Cheyenne East High School on Tuesday night. It was the first loss of the season for the Cowgirls, as they drop to 3-1-3 on the season.
Junior forward Laurel Ramer tallied UW’s only goal in the 14th minute of the contest. After Ramer’s goal, Northern Colorado responded with two goals to end the first half and another after halftime.
The Cowgirls return to action on Friday, hosting Idaho State at 4 p.m. MT.
